Selling this one at a discount because it was an experimental prototype!
I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, but there are a few little finishing issues that make me not want to sell it at full price. It was definitely a learning experience and I can apply all the lessons from this one on making the next one! That is, after all, the goal: to keep getting better and better!
This is only the 7th skirt I’ve made, and the first in this more complex style. I didn’t use a pattern for this one, I just made it up as I went along!
The floral fabric and pom pom trim both came from the thrift shop, and it was made to maximize the use of these materials with as little waste as possible. Cute *and* sustainable is my favorite! It’s also completely one-of-a-kind!
Pom pom trim is one of my favorite things ever and always makes me smile. So I added all of this trim that I had available for a maximalist look!
